The current area of Khao Lak Beach was Khao Lak National Forest Park which was the coastal collapse and the beach with the beautiful scenery. Currently, Khao Lak-Lum Ru National Park Head Quarter is located here, 33 kilometers far from Takua Pa District to Thai Muang District on Petchkasem 33 Road, 50 meters from the main street. The opposite side is Khao Lak Shrine which people respect. This beach comprises of rock cape, rock and sand beach, and the footprint on the stone under the banyan tree. The view point at Khao Lak, 2-kilometer far from the head quarter, has the nature trail along the coast. Besides, the long-distance trekking from the head quarter to Ton Chor Fah Waterfall, 9 kilometers in total, is available, including snorkeling.
